PerformativeGui ("we", "us") makes a desktop dashboard app for Windows and sells optional add-on packs through this website. This page explains what information we handle. Questions can go to performativegui@gmail.com.

What stays on your computer

The app runs on your computer. Your widget layout, settings, to-do items, pinboard notes and similar content are stored on your own device. We do not receive them.

What we collect

  • Account details. When you create an account we store your email address and a sign-in credential, so you can sign in on the website and in the app.
  • Purchases. We store which packs you own so the app can unlock them. Payments are handled by our payment provider (see below). We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Support messages. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

Services the app talks to

  • Weather. If you add an OpenWeather key and a city in Settings, the app sends that city to OpenWeather to get the forecast. Your key is stored on your device.
  • News. The app downloads public news feeds directly from the publishers.
  • Web browser widget. Pages you open in the built-in browser load from the sites you choose, and those sites handle your data under their own policies.
  • Sign-in and purchases. The app contacts our account service to confirm which packs you own.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the purchase and the email used.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists and as needed for taxes, refunds and fraud prevention. To ask us to delete your account or send you a copy of what we hold, email performativegui@gmail.com.

Children

The app and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
